Bishop-Elect Manuel

When Sunday to Sunday Productions filmed an episode of Sunday to Sunday the Series, the team had the privilege of meeting Fr. Manuel, now the Bishop-elect for the Archdiocese of Palm Beach. During production, the crew experienced firsthand his humility, pastoral heart, and deep commitment to serving the Church and community.

What began as a filming opportunity quickly became a meaningful encounter, allowing the team to capture not only his story, but also the spirit of his vocation. Meeting Fr. Manuel became a memorable moment for the production and a powerful reflection of the mission behind Sunday to Sunday—sharing authentic stories of faith, service, and calling.

Father Manuel De Jesus Rodriguez is the pastor of Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Jamaica, Queens. Born in the Dominican Republic, Father Manuel is a priest of the Diocese of Brooklyn, N.Y. In this episode of Sunday to Sunday, we witness Father Manuel’s apostolic zeal that marks his every move. In preaching, he says, “It’s all about Jesus. It’s about his values, and the more we witness to that, the better.”
